It’s a simple message

I walked into our living area yesterday morning and there on the Copier/printer was the simple little Cross below. On inquiring I discovered that it had been one of Yvette’s Grade One art activities.  Instead of the traditional cellophane that is normally used to create a stained glass effect these cut out areas were covered in soft fragile tissue paper, a very effective substitute.

I got to thinking; the Easter message is so simple. We sinned, the penalty of sin is death, God required that the penalty be paid, so he sent Jesus as our substitute, Jesus paid the price so that we could go free. What do we have to do? Nothing! He has done it all  Let us acknowledge Him this Easter by saying thank-you.
