Day Four…Buckingham Palace – Baker Street.

Day Four… Still the 24th September…and yet there’s more!!!

We wandered from the Garden Café at the back of the Palace, down the paths, through spacious lawns and beautiful stands of trees towards the exit and out once more into the bustling city. The afternoon sun was still reasonably high in the sky so we took the tube to Baker Street station. Not only is the Sherlock Holmes Museum at 221b Baker Street but the Beetles Shop is just a few doors down, so the girls were in their element. More Tee Shirts were bought for the little boys back home and of course we couldn’t resist a photo opportunity.

Finally, we returned home to Earls Court sandwiched on the busy peak hour tube which we were now quite used to. It had been a 23deg day with 99% humidity; we were tired but would not have missed any of it. This was the only night we stayed in, Yvette prepared a lovely chicken salad compliments of the M & S fresh food store just down the road and we all sat around and relaxed.’ Elementary my dear Watson.’
