More of Day four- Part 2 Afternoon Tea at the Palace.

54. More of Day Four- Part 2….Afternoon Tea at the Palace.

For this Monarchist afternoon Tea at the Palace was a ‘must do’. As you can see I was very proud to be there. Once we had seen the Changing of the Guard we had a bit of lunch then went on a Pre-booked tour of the Palace State Rooms. The rooms were fabulous but what I really looked forward to was having Afternoon Tea in the Palace Garden Café. We all tried a selection of the dainty and delicious pastries and as you can see, I had a cappuccino.  This was only day four and with so much more to go I was continually thanking God for this amazing opportunity.

The final verse of A A Milnes poem/song says….

They’re changing guard at Buckingham Palace –
Christopher Robin went down with Alice.
“Do you think the King knows all about me?”
“Sure to, dear, but it’s time for tea,”
                                                                    Says Alice.

Left to Right – Fiona, Me, Doug and Yvette

You can only go into the Garden Café via the State Rooms which are open for 8 weeks during August and September.

I went back for a second Royal Cappuccino (the Pastries behind were scrumptious)
