Who do you think you are?

Doug and I both have an absent grandfather from our family tree as noted in ‘ice creams’, There has always been a suggestion that Doug’s absent grandfather may have been a Koori. It is not mentioned  in ‘six chocolate coated ice creams’ because it could not be properly documented and I am only interested in facts. There was always talk of a Zulu Princess on the Payne (Doug’s mother’s) family tree too. It turns out to be true but there were no children born of the marriage. So no Zulu in the blood. However, Doug’s niece  has now  requested that he be DNA tested at her expense, so she can settle the Koori matter once and for all. (Apparently you can get a better reading from the male DNA) Its all very interesting, like an episode from Who do you think you are, one of my favourite programmes. In the meantime we know who we are because the Bible tells us in many places that God will be a father to us and we will be his sons and daughters.
